Introduction

Cattails doesn't just sell ponds and pond equipment; there is so much more. Our outdoor nursery is where you'll find perennials, annuals, shrubs, statuary, and other lawn decorative items. There are outdoor tanks and troughs that hold livestock including fish, snails, and tadpoles. We also have several bins for aquatic plants both of a hardy and tropical nature. Inside the store you'll find a wide variety of products especially in our gifts section which includes candles, windchimes, and other various gifts. We have a large selection of bird feeding supplies. Our pond section of the store is where you'll find pumps, skimmers, fish care products, replacement parts, and UV lights. The list goes on. You'll find many items that will surprise you.

Pumps

In stock is a range of pumps from 60 gallon an hour to over 10000 gallons per hour. We stock pumps from Danner, CAL Jet, Atlantic and Little Giant.

Filters

Pond filtration is important to any pond. Proper sizing is important as well. Cattails stocks filters from Tetra, Atlantic, Pond Builder Danner, and Little Giant.

UV Lights

To take care of floating algae we carry UV lights and replacement bulbs from Emperor Aquatics and Danner (Pondmaster)

Skimmers

Skimmers and bio/filter falls are stocked from Atlantic Pond Supplies and Pond Builder. There's a choice for every budget.

Livestock

Cattails stocks a range of aquatic plants, domestic koi, goldfish, tadpoles, and snails All fish and plants are grown in central PA to ensure reduced stress in shipping and handling.

(Note: Cattails does not ship livestock they must be picked up at the store. We also do not reserve fish for pickup.)

Pond Additives

Sometimes it is necessary to adjust the chemistry of your pond water. We keep in stock a full line of pond care products from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, Ecological labs, Microbe-Lift, and Jungle Pond care items.

Pond Accessories

To finish off your pond we carry a wide range of decorative products like "spitter" frogs, fountain heads, nets, gloves and statuary.

Propane

We refill 20lb and 30lb cylinders. New tanks are not available at the store. There is no need to exchange tanks.

A Note on Valves

We do not fill tanks using POL Valves. Federal Law now requires propane tanks to use OPD valves. OPD valves have a triangular valve at the top of the tank. For more information read http://www.rversonline.org/02Propane.html

Wildlife is bountiful in Pennsylvania and you'll be able to attract them to your yard too. Bird feeders and accessories are in stock year-round.

Cattails stocks over 100 feeders from leading manufacturers. In addition to feeders we have houses for birds, bats, butterflies, lady bugs, and bees.

Bird feed

Bird feed is stocked for all types of wild birds from Lyric.

Wind chimes from Woodstock , sundials, candles, and large framed pictures await you inside the store.

Earth Box

A self contained growing unit for fabulous vegetables or flowers.
